Evans chooses Memphis

Tyreke Evans, a 6-6 shooting guard from American Christian in Delaware County and the No. 1 high school basketball recruit in the country, signed a letter of intent to play for Memphis.

Evans chose the national runner-ups over Villanova and Texas.
