The Philadelphia Soul released defensive lineman George Gause and backup quarterback Mitch Tanney on Monday.
Gause had played two games with the Soul, Week 5 vs. the Tampa Bay Storm and Week 6 against the Utah Blaze. He recorded a tackle in each game.
Tanney was brought in as a backup for QB Matt D’Orazio, but did not see any action with the Soul.
