Reigning WBC/WBA/WBO super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe (45-0, 32 KOs) won a 12 round split decision over 43-year-old Philly native Bernard Hopkins (48-5-21, 32 KOs) in a light heavyweight clash on Saturday night at the Thomas & Mack Arena in Las Vegas.
Hopkins decked Calzaghe with a straight right in round one but just didn't have the energy to match the Brit throughout.
