After taking some time off since the regular season ended, the Sixers Dancers are about to embark on a busy summer. To start things off, on Saturday, June 9, the Sixers Dancers will take on the Phillies Ballgirls in the inaugural Summer Softball Showdown. The Showdown is set to take place at the softball field in FDR Park at the corner of Broad Street and Pattison Avenue starting at noon.

In addition to the Sixers Dancers and Phillies Ballgirls, several members of the Philadelphia media are scheduled to play as well. Among those expected to attend are Comcast SportsNet's Lance Crawford, Jamie Apody from ABC-6, Don Bell from CBS-3, Chris Booker from Q102, Colby Colb & Izzo from 100.3 the Beat and many more.

Admission to the game will be $5. Fans can also participate in pre and post-game meet & greets with the girls, as well as a silent auction with items from both the 76ers and Phillies. All proceeds from the event will be split between Sixers Charities and Phillies Charities, Inc.
