The Phillies announced that righthander J.D. Durbin will have his contract purchased on Friday, and start for the team that day as the Mets and Phils get together for a key doubleheader.

The corresponding transaction has not been released.

The 25-year-old Durbin is 2-4 with a 4.55 ERA in 10 starts this season for triple-A Ottawa. In 133 career minor league games (127 starts), Durbin is 49-27 with a 3.28 ERA. For his major league career, he has appeared in 5 games and is 0-1 with a 14.63 ERA. Durbin pitched in four contests for the Twins in 2004 and in one game for the Diamondbacks earlier this season.

Durbin was claimed off waivers by the Phillies from the Red Sox on April 14.
