Phillies not missing on their man

By Jared Trexler
The Phanatic Magazine
We've seen this script play out before. Good guy players manager with a solid handle of the clubhouse losses his authority, and with it, several too many games.
In enters a fiery skipper, mixing it up with the media, standing at the pulpit of despair and uttering music to every Philadelphia fan's ears: "Losing will not be tolerated."
And it wasn't.
Each loss took 25 grown men to the brink of hell. Adults were treated like third graders who skipped line in recess. Fans saw it as "hard-nosed," "stressing accountability," "understanding the culture of professional sports and the heart of a city."
