While previewing the Flyers choices at number two for this month's NHL draft, the Philadelphia Inquirer's Tim Panaccio wrote on Sunday that in addition to possibly trading the pick, the club, according to league sources, is considering offering Buffalo restricted free agent Thomas Vanek an offer sheet.
Vanek led Buffalo with 43 goals last season.
