Eagles' bottom line isn't rich on the field

A penny saved is a penny earned. Yet, in the concrete world of wins and losses, nickel-dimming a secondary short on depth isn't the best football decision even if profit margins detail otherwise.
Donovan Darius, a nine-year veteran with 614 career tackles and 14 lifetime interceptions, visits Oakland on Wednesday. The Raiders plan on obtaining the hard-hitting ball hawk's John Hancock before he hops back on a plane.
