Soul's Graziani to undergo MRI

By John McMullen

Philadelphia, PA (The Phanatic Magazine) - Philadelphia Soul quarterback Tony Graziani suffered a sprained left knee in the team’s 63-42 win over the New York Dragons Sunday.

Graziani hooked up with Larry Brackins for a 21-yard touchdown pass on the last play of the third quarter, but was knocked from the game when tackle John Nix hit him low and late at the end of the play. He is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday.

Reserve quarterback Matt D'Orazio came on to lead two fourth-quarter touchdown drives and secure the win for the 3-0 Soul.

Last year, Philadelphia started the season 4-0 but struggled after Graziani suffered a separated shoulder and missed six games.

The Soul have a short week with the next game set for Thursday night in Los Angeles against the Avengers. Game time is 10:30 p.m. (et) and it can bee seen live on Comcast SportsNet.
