MMA coming to Vorhees

(Voorhees, NJ --- March 12, 2008) Carl Mascarhenas, president of the Asylum Fight League, today announced details for a live mixed martial arts (MMA) fight card, featuring local amateur fighters, at the Virtua Health Flyers Skate Zone at Voorhees, NJ, on Saturday, April 5 at 8 p.m.

Tickets to the Asylum Fight League inaugural fight at Flyers Skate Zone are $40 and $75. They are available now through TicketWeb.com, or in person at Flyers Skate Zone and Shady Katie’s Pub & Patio.

“This night promises to bring the best up-and-coming MMA fighters in the region that are looking to make a name for themselves and take their game to the professional level,” said Mascarenhas. “These fighters train for several hours a day while still going to school or holding down a full time job, and caring for a family. They are very anxious to showcase their skills and will do whatever it takes to win and entertain all fans in attendance.”

The main event features a Title fight between two unbeaten fighters, Brett Wade (2-0) from Team Balance, facing off against John Cuello (3-0) from Mas MMA.
