1st Round

1. Miami - 1-15 - Matt Ryan - QB - Boston College
The Dolphins have already added many defensive FA in open market. New boss Parcells will focus on offense with their early selections beginning with their future leader and cornerstone performer.

2. St. Louis - 3-13 - Glenn Dorsey - DT - LSU
The Rams will focus on their front four and Dorsey gives them a difference maker with early impact ability.

3. x - Atlanta - 4-12 - Chris Long - DE - Virginia
The Falcons are trying to regroup after a disastrous ’07 season and Chris Long is the safest pick in this draft class and a cornerstone of newly formed team.

4. x - Oakland - 4-12 - * Darren McFadden - RB - Arkansas
Owner Al Davis is always trying to make a splash and McFadden gives him star value.

5. x - Kansas City - 4-12 - Sedrick Ellis - DT - Southern Cal
The Chiefs defensive line has failed miserably in recent years and Ellis could be a difference maker here.

6. NY Jets - 4-12 - * Vernon Gholston - DE/LB - Ohio St
The Jets may look to add a bookend pass rusher for new FA Calvin Pace and Gholston is flying up the charts.

7. New England (San Fran - 5-11) - Leodis McKelvin - CB - Troy University
The Pats defense took some major hits in the secondary and they will look to add a top flight cover man early in the draft.

8. Baltimore - 5-11 - Jake Long - OT - Michigan
The Ravens are looking to improve their line especially with an available bookend tackle and vet Jon Ogden expected to retire.

9. Cincinnati - 7-9 - * Rashard Mendenhall - RB - Illinois
The Bengals could surprise here and get a well rounded feature back to balance their attack.

10. New Orleans - 7-9 - Mike Jenkins - CB - South Florida
The Saints defense gets toasted weekly and Jenkins would be a fine addition for this battered secondary.

11. Buffalo - 7-9 - Keith Rivers - LB - Southern Cal
The Bills are looking for playmakers on their front seven and Rivers would be an excellent fit on this unit.

12. Denver - 7-9 - * Ryan Clady - OT - Boise St.
The Broncos must protect young Jay Cutlers’ blindside and Clady may be the best pure left tackle in this fine class.

13. Carolina - 7-9 - Brian Brohm - QB - Louisville
Panthers will consider adding their future leader here if Brohm is still on the board in middle of the round.

14. Chicago - 7-9 - Jeff Otah - OT - Pittsburgh
The Bears have major needs on offense along the line and at wide receiver. This prospect would be a good addition to an aging unit.

15. Detroit - 7-9 - * Derrick Harvey - DE - Florida
The Lions defensive line would benefit from a top flight edge rusher and this kid is moving up quickly.

16. Arizona - 8-8 - Kentwan Balmer - DT - North Carolina
The Cardinals defense needs a playmaker upfront and this defender can be a rookie starter.

17. Minnesota - 8-8 - Chris Williams - OT - Vanderbilt
The Vikings will draft into the deep offensive tackle class early and maybe with their #1 selection.

18. Houston - 8-8 - Antoine Cason - CB - Arizona
The Texans will look to add a top cover man and will consider this prospect at this pick.

19. Philadelphia - 8-8 - Malcolm Kelly - WR - Oklahoma
The Eagles are looking for a true #1 receiver and like this Sooner playmaker.

20. Tampa Bay - 9-7 – * Jonathan Stewart - RB - Oregon
The Bucs’ are looking to add a starting feature back with pressing injury problems with Cadillac Williams.

21. Washington - 9-7 - Quentin Groves - DE/LB - Auburn
The Redskins will address the defensive line early and possibly on the outside first with this fast rising prospect.

22. Dallas (Cleve - 10-6) - * DeSean Jackson - WR - California
The Cowboys have little depth and advancing age here with both TO and Terry Glenn over 34 years old by opening day.

23. Pittsburgh - 10-6 - * Aqib Talib - CB - Kansas
The Steelers hope to address their secondary early in the draft especially on the corner.

24. Tennessee - 10-6 - * Calais Campbell - DE - Miami
The Titans suffered huge losses in FA along the line and this area could be addressed early with a few picks.

25. Seattle - 10-6 - * Branden Albert - OG - Virginia
The Seahawks' have searched in recent years for a replacement for Steve Hutchinson and it ends here if they land this blue chip guard in the late first round.

26. Jacksonville - 11-5 - * Phillip Merling - DE - Clemson
The Jaguars will look to address their front four and possibly both outside and inside early in the process.

27. San Diego - 11-5 - * Kenny Phillips - FS - Miami
The Chargers may address their secondary again early in the process especially if this talented safety is on the board.

28. Dallas - 13-3 - * Reggie Smith - CB - Oklahoma
The Boys are vulnerable on the corner and they will most likely address this spot early and probably with one of their #1 picks.
29. San Fran (Indianapolis - 13-3) - Limas Sweed - WR - Texas
The 49ers will look to address this area early and often to help Alex Smith become a reliable NFL starter.

30. Green Bay - 13-3 - Brandon Flowers - CB - Virginia Tech
The Green Bay starting corners, Harris and Woodson are both entering their 12th season next fall.

31. New England - 18-1 - Forfeited their #1 pick due to the dirty Spygate caper.

32. NY Giants - 14-6 - Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie - CB - Tennessee St.
GM Jerry Reese is looking are playmakers in the secondary and this guy has excelled with an A this postseason.
