Phillies Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt is launching his own wine label with other members of the exclusive 500 Home Run Club to benefit various charities.
Schmidt's 548 Zinfandel will support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
The 500 Home Run Club wines are produced by Eos Estate Winery out of Paso Robles, California and will be available to the general public in May. Expected retail price is about $17.
There will be a launch event held on May 2 at Citizen's Bank Park with Schmidt himself.
