Former Temple quarterback Henry Burris was named CFL Offensive Player of the Month for September on Thursday.
Burris led the Calgary Stampeders to a 2-1 record in the month. He completed 63 percent of his passes while throwing for 860 yards and nine touchdowns with only three interceptions. Burris added 182 rushing yards on 25 carries.
