Flyers assign Boulerice, Ruzicka to Phantoms

The Philadelphia Flyers assigned forwards Jesse Boulerice and Stefan Ruzicka to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Philadelphia Phantoms.

Ruzicka, 22, was scoreless in one game for the Flyers this season after being recalled from the Phantoms on Monday, October 15. He has recorded three goals and five assists for eight points and 23 penalty minutes in five games for the Phantoms this season. He leads the team in points with eight (first in the AHL).

Boulerice, 29, was scoreless in two games for the Flyers this season. He was suspended by the NHL on October 12 for 25 games as a result of a match penalty from an incident in the game at Vancouver on October 10. He was signed as a free agent by the Flyers on October 3 after he attended Training Camp on a try-out basis.
