Eagles - Jets post game quotes

Andy Reid -- Red zone defense I thought did a heck of a job of stopping the Jets. They were put in bad situations at times, they did a good job of playing through it. On the other hand, we gotta do a better job offensively when we get in the red zone. It's important in this league that we score touchdowns, limit the field goals and, I'm stating the obvious here but that's what we gotta do.

Donovan McNabb -- (on the TD) -- I see they were playing us man, and they had eight in the box. In a situation like that you want to give an opportunity to the guys on the outside knowing you don't want to put Westbrook in a situation where it's kind of one-on-one in the hole with a safety or a linebacker...Kevin did a wonderful job of getting open, put it in a position where he could catch it and after the catch, it was all Kev.

Kevin Curtis (on the offense) -- Anytime you have success out there you have to have good protection, receivers gotta be getting open so Donovan does have the protection so he can put it on us so it's just so key that everyone on the team does their part.

(on his speed) -- It's always been one of my strengths; I'm not the biggest guy out there but I got good speed and feel like I can make some plays after the catch and that (touchdown) was an example of it.
___________

Eric Mangini -- Obviously I'm very disappointed with the result, locker room is disappointed. I told the players we all feel the same way because we know how hard we work, we know how much we put in to this, how much time we spend working on the game plan, looking to execute the game plan, doing things the right way and get the results we are looking for. It makes you angry. It makes you frustrated and that's how people feel and I understand that and it's collective because of the amount of hard work that we put in day in and day out, the amount of preparation, the amount these guys work together, the way these guys work as a group, that's a natural feeling. It's disappointing where we are because of how much we have put in week in and week out.

Chad Pennington -- Right now I'm just numb. Not a lot of answers, gotta go back and look at the film.

(on the failed 4th down play from the four-yard line) -- We had three-by-one formation. Laveranues singled on the back side, and had a lot a lot of people over on the front side with the three receivers, so I felt like I could give Laveranues a chance and Sheldon Brown made a really good play, tried to back shoulder Laveranues because Sheldon was playing off and it's like the way the season is going....six inches. He knocks it down instead of us catching it.
