Philadelphia, Pa. - October 9, 2007 - The Philadelphia 76ers will hold an open practice on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Wachovia Center. Head Coach Maurice Cheeks will run practice wearing a live microphone, allowing fans the opportunity to experience the sights and sounds of an NBA practice first hand.
This event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 5:30 pm.
At the conclusion of practice, all those in attendance will have the opportunity to shoot a lay-up on the Sixers court. Additionally, fans will be greeted at the doors by the Hip-Hop and the Sixers Dancers, who will also entertain the fans with a special performance.
