King of Prussia, PA -- The Phanatic Magazine announced its association with the TLS Memorial on Tuesday, branching to involvement with the Lehigh Valley area charity golf tournament.
"The TLS Memorial has grown leaps and bounds over the previous three years," stated Jared Trexler. "With over 100 golfers and numerous area volunteers, sponsorship avenues ranging from local politicians to resorts and wine vineyards and auction prizes donated in the past by Penn State athletics and other local sporting venues, the event has been embraced by the greater Philadelphia region."
The 2007 TLS Memorial will be held on Friday, July 27, 2007 (12 p.m. registration, 1 p.m. shotgun) at Riverview Country Club in Easton, Pennsylvania. The cost of the event is $80 per player/$320 per foursome for a day that includes golf, cart, lunch and door prizes followed by a banquet dinner and prize auction.
"The Phanatic Magazine is proud to be in association with the TLS Memorial. The tournament is about the betterment of life through sport -- a cause that our publication can certainly throw its full support behind," said Tim McManus. "Area golf is becoming a big part of our magazine, so this is really a perfect fit."
All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society, a high school girls basketball scholarship and an education endowment for the young sons of Terry L. Stevens, a Bangor High School graduate and one of Mansfield's Top 100 Basketball Players.
For more information on playing in the event or joining a long list of area sponsors, please send an email to jtt128@comcast.net. Deadline for sponsorship and entry is Friday, July 13, 2007. Businesses can use all sponsorship donations as a tax write-off.
