To get down to the 21-man limit the Flyers placed goaltender Brian Boucher and defenseman Ole-Kristian Tollefsen were placed on the Injured Reserve List and loaned defenseman Randy Jones to the Flyers’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms. Jones, 28, appeared in three preseason games for the Flyers, recording one assist and two penalty minutes.
