Facing his former team for the first time Monday night spiked ESPN's overnight rating to 14.2, a stunning number for cable and the highest-overnight rating for any show since ESPN first began keeping records in 1997.
Meanwhile, check out these local ratings. In the Twin Cities the game tallied a staggering combined 58.3 rating on KSTP and ESPN. The Super Bowl did a 43.3 rating last year in Minneapolis-St. Paul. In Milwaukee, the game did a combined 49.7 rating.
According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune's Judd Zulgad there are just over 1.7 million households in the Twin Cities and 1.009 million of them were tuned into Monday night's game.
