Eagles make practice squad moves

The Eagles signed WR Dobson Collins and G Dallas Reynolds to the practice squad and released CB Stoney Woodson. Meanwhile, G Mike Gibson was signed from the practice squad to Seattle’s 53-man roster.

Collins (6-2, 178) was signed by San Francisco as an undrafted free agent on April 26, 2009. The 22-year-old Collins was a two-time All-Big South selection as a receiver and punt returner for Gardner-Webb, playing 42 games (22 starts) and amassing 143 receptions for 1,754 yards and 14 touchdowns. He was released from the 49ers practice squad on October 5, 2009.

Reynolds (6-4, 314) played four years at BYU, earning All-MWC honors his senior year. He was signed by Philadelphia as an undrafted free agent on April 27, 2009 and waived on September 5, 2009.

No truth to the rumor the Birds will sign Rae Carruth to try and steal the headlines away from the Phillies.
