Phantoms to return to Philly on Dec. 4

They were the Philadelphia Phantoms for 13 seasons. And, for one night, the Adirondack Phantoms, the Philadelphia Flyers American Hockey League affiliate, will return to Philadelphia, their former home, for one AHL regular season game when they face the Norfolk Admirals at the Wachovia Center on Friday, December 4 at 7 p.m.

Tickets for all children 12-years-old and younger are $10. Individual tickets at $14, $18, and $19 are on sale exclusively through ComcastTIX on line at ComcastTIX.com, by phone by calling 1-800-298-4200 or in person at the Wachovia Center box office. There are also a very limited number of front row, along the ice, seats available for $33.

“This will be a terrific opportunity for Flyers fans to see the next generation of Flyers players currently in our system,” said Comcast-Spectacor President Peter Luukko. “We also know there are a lot of Phantoms fans in the Greater Philadelphia Region who have asked us if we could get the Phantoms to return to play a game here in Philadelphia.

“We’re grateful to the new Phantoms owners, Rob and Jim Brooks, for rearranging their schedule to bring a game here to the hockey fans in Philadelphia,” added Luukko.
