Miller fails Blazers conditioning test

Let's face it, Andre Miller's game was never predicated on superior athletic ability. A true point guard, Miller has always gotten by on smarts and guile.

The Oregonian reported that Miller was the only Blazers player with a guaranteed contract who didn’t pass the team's conditioning test on Tuesday night. Coach Nate McMillan requires players to run the length of the court and back five times. They have to do this in four different sets. So, maybe just maybe Ed Stefanski knew what he was doing by letting Miller walk for no compensation.

Lou Williams does look like a better fit for Eddie Jordan's offense but sooner or later, the Sixers will miss Miller's understated leadership and steady stewardship on the floor.
