Eagles meet animal rights activists

The big Eagles meeting with animal rights groups happened last night at the NovaCare Complex in South Philadelphia.

According to CBS 3, approximately 50 people attended the roundtable discussion to voice their concerns over the signing of quarterback Michael Vick.

Vick and team owner Jeffrey Lurie did not attend the meeting but president Joe Banner did.

"I went in skeptical thinking that this was just going to be a plan to say 'here's our plan, we want to bring you in to talk about it and then you can leave,'" DogPAC Chairman Tom Hickey Sr. said. "I left the meeting with the thoughts that there's definitely serious intent, going forward, to work with us."
