With Kevin Kolb sidelined with a sprained MCL, the Eagles added some quarterback depth Monday by adding former Delaware signal-caller Matt Nagy to the roaster. Nagy, who has worked as a coaching intern during the 2008 and 2009 Eagles training camps at LehighUniversity, is a product of Manheim (PA) CentralHigh School and the University of Delaware. Nagy (6-2, 220) is a veteran of six seasons in the Arena Football League, playing for the Columbus Destroyers (2007-08), Georgia Force (2005-06), Carolina Cobras (2004), and New York Dragons (2002).
The 31-year-old Nagy set over 20 career passing records at Delaware, including attempts (895), completions (502), yards (8,214) and touchdowns (58).
To make room for Nagy, the Birds released WR Brandon Robinson.
