Phils on the verge of getting Lee

Yahoo! Sports is now reporting that the Phillies appear on the verge of acquiring left-hander Cliff Lee.

In return, the Indians would receive right-handed pitching prospects Carlos Carrasco and Jason Knapp and at least two players from a group that includes catcher Lou Marson, shortstop Jason Donald and outfielder Michael Taylor.

Meanwhile, FOXSports' Ken Rosenthal reports the deal is Carlos Carrasco, Jason Knapp, Lou Marson and Jason Donald for Cliff Lee and Ben Francisco.

The New York Post's Joel Sherman is also reporting that the deal "is very close" with Knapp being the key going the other way.

Lee has been red-hot recently. In his last four starts, the starter is 3-1 with a 1.97 ERA, allowing 27 hits with just two walks and 22 strikeouts in 32 innings pitched. Francisco is hitting .250 with 10 homers and 33 RBI this season.
