"I feel this year we have the best roster in the league," Banner told Bob Ford of the Philadelphia Inquirer. "That's assuming everyone is healthy and standing at the end. You can only make a statement like that on the first day of training camp. After that, anything can happen."
The Birds are a good team but that is quite a stretch. Remember this is a team that has to overcome the loss of defensive coordinator Jim Johnson and the absence of Brian Dawkins along with a oft-injured Brian Westbrook. Add to that two new offensive lineman and the fact Shawn Andrews is tackling a new position and 10-6 should be the goal with the hopes of getting hot at the right time like last season.
BTW...Andy Reid says Westbrook has a chance to be back by mid August and will be reporting to camp tonight to continue rehab. Forget mid-August, pray for Week 1.
