ESPN950's Brian Seltez reports that a source familiar with the negotiations between the Eagles and their first-round pick Jeremy Maclin says that the two sides will resume the contract discussions they started the previous week.
The "goal," according to the source, is for the Mizzou receiver to report to training camp on time, with the rest of the Birds' rookies and a few selected vets, this Sunday.
The source does not think a late arrival is likely, saying, "Nothing today would indicate to me that [Maclin] won't be there [Lehigh University] on July 26th."
