UFC president Dana White told reporters in England Saturday that UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar is "very, very sick" and needs a serious medical evaluation to determine the cause of a lingering illness.
Lesnar, 32, collapsed when on vacation in Canada last week and was rushed to the hospital. He has been diagnosed with mono and another undisclosed illness.
White promised Lesnar he would keep the problem confidential, hower he did say it wasn't cancer or AIDS, likely to stop rampant speculation.
"I am worried about it," White said. "He's in rough shape. He's in really bad shape and we're going to have to do some stuff to take care of this guy. He is not well and he's not getting any better.
"We're going to have to send him to the Mayo Clinic or to Scripps, or one of those really good hospitals to figure out what's wrong with this guy."
