Comcast SportsNet apologized for a curse word going over the air at the end of the Villanova-Richmond football game on Saturday.
At the end of the close game, someone other than the announcers was heard ripping Richmond's kicker after he missed a possible game-winning field goal.
The voice then said. "Come on, let’s end this fucking game already.”
“During Comcast SportsNet’s coverage of the Richmond-Villanova college football game on Saturday, our audio signal inadvertently picked up an off-color remark," the company said in a statement. " We apologize to our viewers and the teams and will take appropriate disciplinary action to ensure this does not reoccur.”
