The Philadelphia Flyers recalled right wing David Laliberte from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms.
Laliberte, 23, will join the Flyers on their five-game road trip and be available for the Flyers-Kings game on Wednesday. He has two goals and three points in four contests with the Flyers after he made his NHL debut on Oct. 31 vs. Carolina Hurricanes, where he recorded a goal and an assist.
A native of St-Liboire, Quebec, Laliberte has two goals and five assists for seven points in 10 games with the Phantoms this season. His seven points are tied for third on Adirondack in scoring. In parts of three seasons of play in the AHL (2007-08 to 2009-10), Laliberte has recorded 64 points (33G,31A) and 66 penalty minutes in 107 games, all with the Phantoms.
He was originally selected by the Flyers in the fourth round (124th overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and signed a three-year entry level contract with the Flyers on May 17, 2007.
