FOX Sports' Ken Rosental is reporting that the Phillies are interested in obtaining Braves center fielder Mark Kotsay.
Kotsay, who has cleared waivers, is also drawing trade interest from the Red Sox, however.
Kotsay has a limited no-trade clause that allows him to block trades to about eight teams. It is not known whether the Red Sox and Phillies are among those teams.
Kotsay, who turns 33 on Dec. 2, is batting .289 with a .338 on-base percentage, six home runs and 37 RBIs in 344 plate appearances this season.
