Penn State named senior Daryll Clark its starting quarterback for the team's season opener against Coastal Carolina on Saturday.
Clark beat out highly-regarded sophomore Pat Devlin, according to the Centre Daily Times. Devlin is also expected to see action versus the Chanticleers, however.
Clark served as Penn State's backup the last two years behind Anthony Morelli.
