The Philadelphia Eagles released kicker Richmond McGee and placed cornerback Jack Ikegwuonu on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list Tuesday.
Ikegwuonu, who is currently rehabilitating a knee injury suffered during a workout prior to the 2008 NFL combine, is eligible to return to practice with the team anytime between weeks six and nine of the regular season.
With today’s transactions, the Eagles roster now stands at 75 players. All NFL teams are required to cut down their rosters to 53 players by 4:00 p.m. (ET) on Saturday, August 30.
