Ex-Sixer McKie to be arraigned on gun charges

Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman is accusing former Sixers star Aaron McKie of trying to buy two guns despite being under a protection-from-abuse order.

Ferman alleges that McKie failed to disclose the protection order when he applied to buy the guns in April.

McKie never got the guns because of the order, which was filed in Delaware County last year and is in effect until September.

McKie is set to be arraigned Monday on a gun violation and a charge of lying to authorities.
