An early entry candidate for the 2008 NBA Draft.

Career Highlights: Emerged as a sophomore after serving as a backup to current NBA
players Al Horford, Joakim Noah and Chris Richard as a freshman on Florida’s 2007
NCAA Championship team. Currently ranks eighth all-time in Florida history in
blocked shots per game (0.93 bpg). Would also rank second all-time in field goal
percentage (.633) but falls just short of the minimum qualifications of 500 career field
goal attempts. Has registered 12 career double-doubles.

Sophomore (2007-08): Led team in rebounding (8.1 rpg, ranked fourth in the SEC) and
ranked second in scoring (14.5 ppg). Finished second in the conference in field goal
percentage (.624, ranked ninth nationally) and eighth in blocked shots (1.4 bpg). Scored
20 or more points nine times. Posted 10 double-doubles. Registered a career-high 24
points and pulled down 15 rebounds vs. High Point. Shot 10-for-13 from the field in
scoring 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds at South Carolina. Tallied 20 points, eight
rebounds and a career-high-tying four blocked shots vs. Kentucky. Posted a 20-point,
10-rebound double-double vs. Mississippi State. Earned MVP honors at the Orange
Bowl Classic after scoring 20 points on 7-for-10 shooting vs. Temple. Recorded 23
points, nine rebounds and three blocked shots at Tennessee and scored 21 on perfect
8-for-8 shooting in the rematch. Led team with 18 points vs. San Diego State in the first
round of the postseason NIT. Notched 14 points and a game-high 10 rebounds at
Arizona State in the quarterfinals. Scored 12 points and grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds
vs. Massachusetts in the semifinals.

Freshman (2006-07): Averaged 4.1 points and 2.6 rebounds in 5.7 minutes a contest.
Set a school freshman record for field goal percentage (.671). Posted two double-doubles.
Registered 13 points, 10 rebounds and a season-high three steals vs. Prairie View A&M.
Recorded 12 points, 12 rebounds and a season-high three blocked shots vs. Southern. Set a
season-high with 16 points on 7-for-10 shooting and grabbed six rebounds in only 10
minutes of playing time vs. Jackson State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Played six minutes in the National Championship game vs. Ohio State, scoring two points
and pulling down two rebounds.

Strengths: Extremely big and strong but surprisingly quick and athletic. Has great hands
and some effective go-to moves on offense. Competes hard on the boards and on the
defensive end, using his long wingspan to block shots.

Personal: Attended Gibbs High School and Admiral Farragut Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida
before spending his senior year at Hargrave Military Academy.
