Had the Philadelphia Soul won tonight's game, they would have hosted next week's Conference Championship Game for the first time in franchise history. However, the Soul couldn't overcome the Georgia Force, falling 65-39 at Philips Arena, and in turn, ending their 2007 season.
Tony Graziani threw for five touchdowns and 261 yards, but was outdueled by Georgia's Chris Greisen, who threw for 301 yards and seven touchdowns.
Larry Brackins, returning to the lineup for the first time in three games due to a knee injury, hauled in seven passes for 75 yards and a pair of scores for the Soul, who trailed 20-7 by the end of the first quarter and never recovered. Jerrian James also caught a pair of touchdown passes in defeat.
The Philadelphia defense failed to contain Chris Jackson, as the Force wide out made 10 catches for 169 yards with four touchdown receptions.
