The Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting that an NBA source believes Ed Snider and Comcast-Spectacor are actively trying to sell the Philadelphia 76ers. The source added that no potential buyers had surfaced.
Comcast-Spectacor president Peter Luukko denied the rumor, however. "We're absolutely not marketing the team," Luukko told the newspaper. "We're excited about the young players we have, and we're not selling."
Snider did put the team on the block last year but pulled back when he didn't get an offer he liked.
