The Phillies have places slugger Raul Ibanez on the 15-day DL with a strained groin.
John Mayberry Jr. will get the call from Lehigh Valley to replace Ibanez on the roster.
In other Phillies news, closer Brad Lidge could begin a rehab assignment tomorrow for Double-A Reading and could be back as early as next Tuesday against Tampa Bay.
