Major League Baseball officials detailed Wednesday night that ALL trade talks between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Chicago White Sox have broken off. All indications from sources are that White Sox GM Kenny Williams wanted more than a package of former cult hero Aaron Rowand and prospect Gavin Floyd or Ryan Madson in return for starting pitcher Freddy Garcia.
Once the White Sox deal fell through -- with the Phillies not obtaining another starting pitcher -- the trade talks with the Milwaukee Brewers ceased as well. So, all whirlwind rumors of Jon Lieber heading to the Brew Crew for Kevin Mench and Jose Capellan or Derrick Turnbow are mute at this point.

let me ask you this question: Deal or No Deal?
Is Rowand in the deal? I'm hearing different things from different people. The deal includes a "player to be named", but no word on who
