A.I. trade watch - Day 5

" We ain't talkin' about a game...we talkin' about practice. PRACTICE." Quotes like that made Iverson a "Coach Killer," writes John McMullen.

Phanatic's A.I. Coverage:
McManus: Iverson's affect on the people of a city
Trexler: A.I. the warrior deserves to win, not lose
Lienert: As Philadelphia fans, we should have expected this

Any second now -- that's the same thing we said yesterday -- Allen Iverson will be traded out of Philadelphia. His locker has been cleaned out. The nameplate is off. The highlight video doesn't include any sick crossover dribbles or long-distance jump shots.

The Iverson era is over. The only question that remains is where his twilight will begin?

ESPN's Ric Bucher says it's down to Indiana or Denver. I wonder if Billy King knows that (since he's locked in a bunker without cell "service" to return phone calls). The Daily News' Phil Jasner says the rumors are swirling in Sixerville.
Some rumors are making folks just a little angry. The Charlotte Observer talked with an unappreciative Bobcats head coach Bernie Bickerstaff, who refuted a Philadelphia Inquirer report that the Sixers and Bobcats were close to a deal before Iverson nixed it.
More information as the day unfolds...
