PHILADELPHIA (The Phanatic Magazine) - The Sixers have brought back veteran guard Royal Ivey, coach Doug Collins told reporters.
The 6-foot-4 Ivey spent the past two seasons in Oklahoma City, playing in 25 games two
years ago and 34 games this season for the Western Conference champions.
Ivey played in 71 games with the Sixers in 2008-09, averaging 3.0 points per game in 12.1 minutes as a reserve. He played in 26 games the following season before he was traded to Milwaukee in the Jodie Meeks.
A University of Texas product, Ivey, 31, can play both guard positions and is regraded as a solid defender.
Collins also announced that center Kwame Brown passed his physical, his last hurdle before joining the Sixers.
