Unrestricted free agent center Spencer Hawes has agreed to a two -year, $13.1 million contract extension with the Sixers, Hawes' agent, Greg Lawrence, told YAHOO! Sports.
The Milwaukee Bucks reportedly made a strong bid for Hawes, while the Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves and Portland Trail Blazers also showed at lease moderate interest.
