Darren Bent and U.S. internationals Brad Guzan and Eric Lichaj headline the roster.
A forward, Bent has recorded 147 goals in 350 matches throughout his career. Lichaj, meanwhile, has appeared in eight games for the U.S. Men’s National Team as a defender since joining the squad in 2010, while goalkeeper Guzan has garnered 20 caps since beginning his time with the USMNT in 2006.
Aston Villa will travel to Chicago following the match against the Union to take on the Chicago Fire on July 21 before traveling to Portland to face the Portland Timbers on July 24.
