Harkless, Vucevic headline Sixers Summer League squad

PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia 76ers announced their roster which will compete in the 2012 AirTran Airways Orlando Pro Summer League (OPSL).  The five-day event will take place from July 9-13 on the Orlando Magic’s practice court at the Amway Center.

Headlining the Sixers entry in the OPSL is Maurice Harkless, who was the 15th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.  Harkless was named Big East Rookie of the Year this past season after averaging 15.5 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.4 blocks.

Joining Harkless will be the Sixers first round pick from last year’s draft, Nik Vucevic.  The 7-footer appeared in 51 games with 15 starts this past season, averaging 5.5 points and 4.8 rebounds.  Below is the Sixers entire summer league roster, which can also be found in the attached document:

Guard Xavier Silas, who finished last season on the Sixers' bench, as well as veteran big man Solomon Jones will also be on the team. Rookie Arnett Moultrie will miss the entire OPSL with a sprained ankle.

The OPSL is comprised of eight teams (Boston, Brooklyn, Detroit, Indiana, Oklahoma City, Orlando, Philadelphia and Utah) who will each play five games.  Below is the Sixers schedule for the OPSL (Times are Eastern):
