Former Phillies left fielder Pat Burrell took out large ads in both The Philadelphia Inquirer and the Daily News today thanking the fans for their support during his nine seasons with the club.
Burrell left town after helping the Phillies win their first championship since 1980. He signed in January with the Tampa Bay Rays.
