Amaro Jr. on Astros radar

The Houston Chronicle is reporting that the Astros are set to begin interviewing candidates for their vacant general manager's position as early as Thursday. A few names have started to circulate, including Phillies assistant general manager Ruben Amaro Jr., former LA Dodgers GM Dan Evans and Florida Marlins vice president of player personnel Dan Jennings.
