On a bright, sunny, but ungodly hot day at Lincoln Financial Field, Temple's inaugural contest as a full-fledged member of the Mid-American Conference was awash in firsts.
As in, Buffalo recorded a touchdown on the first play from scrimmage in the game. They scored three touchdowns in the first quarter. The Bulls were up by 21-0 early in the second by the time Temple recorded its first first down. The Owls were trying for their first win of the season and first against any opponent since last October 28.
You get the idea. Anyway, on the first college football Saturday of 2007 in Philadelphia, the Temple Owls were overcome by Buffalo, 42-7. More >>
