Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Lito Sheppard was diagnosed with a sprained MCL Monday and will likely miss the team's next game against Washington.
Sheppard left the Eagles' season opening 16-13 loss against the Green Bay Packers in the second quarter and did not return.
The six-year pro out of Florida was replaced in the lineup by reserve Joselio Hanson, who also eventually left the game with a concussion and is listed as day-to-day.
A two-time Pro Bowl selection, Sheppard started 13 games for the Eagles last season and amassed 31 tackles and six interceptions.
Also listed as day-to-day are strong safety Sean Considine with a knee sprain; reserve corner Williams James with a bruised quad; and receiver/returner Greg Lewis with a hip-pointer.
