No charges for Millersville football players

No charges will be in filed in a suspected sexual assault that led to the suspension of nine Millersville University football players because the alleged victim will not cooperate with authorities.

The 19-year-old woman and several witnesses reported the incident after an off-campus apartment party on September 2.

Police decided to drop the case Tuesday after conferring with prosecutors.

The nine players were suspended from the football team, but are still attending classes.

A separate university investigation is still ongoing.
