Eagles defensive end Juqua Parker was arrested on a marijuana charge early Wednesday morning.
Parker was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation by Lower Saucon Township police at 12:33 a.m., and was found to be "in possession of a small amount of marijuana." He was arraigned and eventually released after posting a $1,000 bail.
Parker missed the team's morning practice in Lehigh.
"We’re aware of the incident on Juqua Parker and obviously, there is nothing I can comment on at the moment," coach Andy Reid said after practice. "It’s in the law’s hands right now and as time goes on I’ll know more. I’ve got to wait and see what the full report is here. I’m not going to judge it until it I’ve got all of the information.”
Update: Parker was back at practice for the afternoon session.
